Kat Dennings is a Pennsylvanian born in Bryn Mawr on 13 June 1986. She was named Katherine Victoria Litwack. Ellen Dennings, her mom. Ellen worked as a poetry and speech therapy counselor. Gerald Dennings works as a molecular druggist and professor at the university. Dennings is youngest of five kids and was raised up in an orthodox Jewish household. Dennings only briefly attended the traditional schools and was also educated in a home setting. The decision to go homeschooled was made because she was a keen actor from an early age. Her ability to complete her high school education at the age of 14. When she was just 9she began acting in advertisements. Following her graduation from high school she relocated with her family to Los Angeles in order to pursue acting. She began auditioning under the name Kat Dennings. Kat Dennings, who had moved from LA in 2000, moved to LA in 2000, made her debut on the HBO program named "Sex and the City". After that, Dennings starred in the WB's sitcom "Sex and the City".
