Sharon Yvonne Stone is the sole child from Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, who was a manufacturer of tool and dies, as well as a former employee of a plant. She was born on 10 March 1958, at Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly, Patrick. She was one from three sister. Stone began the second grade at just five. She was considered to be gifted in the academic area. Saegertown School in Saegertown Pennsylvania was the high school she attended. Her graduation was in 1975. She also competed for the Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, winning Miss Crawford County. Stone was able to move in New Jersey with her aunt in 1977 to take on a modeling job after signing with the Ford Modeling Agency within a month. Her next move was to Europe which she was to spend a year in Milan, Paris and other cities. However, Stone became disillusioned with modeling and fashion in Europe which led her to go into acting while living there. At 20, she appeared in the Woody Allen film "Stardust Memories," with mixed receptions.
