Sharon Yvonne Stone (born March 10 1959) was born in Meadville Pennsylvania to Dorothy Lawson an accountant and Joseph William Stone Jr. who was a tool and die manufacturer, who worked as a worker for the manufacturing firm. Stone has three brothers: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone was considered academically gifted when she was a kid and started in second grade at the age of five. In 1975 Stone graduated from Saegertown high school in Saegertown (Pennsylvania). In 1975, the Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw Stone winning Miss Crawford County. Stone relocated together with her aunt from New Jersey, where she began a modeling career. The following month, Stone signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency. While in Europe Stone lived for a year in Milano and Paris. Stone however became disillusioned in Europe in the modeling business and decided to move into acting. The film of Woody Allen, "Stardust Memories", got mixed praise at the age of 20.
