Awkwafina
Awkwafina began as an American rapper and singer, releasing sly tracks that tackled questions of race and sexuality with a humorous twist. Prior to her move to Hollywood the singer could make a few songs. Nora Lum began her musical journey as a trumpet player. Her birthplace was Forest Hills Queens, she was the daughter of Chinese immigrants as well as Korean immigrants. Jazz, classical and hip-hop education began when she was just a teenager. At college, she was studying journalism and women's studies. In addition, she spent some time learning Mandarin at the University of Beijing. Her focus shifted to music only after she finished her studies. After gaining viral fame on the Internet and her own track My Vag was a reaction to the Mickey Avalon song My Dick. It eventually was included on the album she released, Yellow Ranger. It also included viral hits like body-positive Queef and a wink-y home tour NYC Bitche$. The final track was linked directly to Awkwafina's NYC travel guide released in the year 2015. Following a career that was successful as a musician She chose to assume the role of actor. In addition to early series like Girl Code and Tawk - she appeared in the movies Neighbors 2 Storks and Bad Rap. In the year 2018, her breakout performances included Dude Ocean's 8, and Crazy Rich Asians. She released the EP,"In Fina We Trust in June of that year.
